Local medical institutions in Portugal face strict emission control standards for medical waste. In the past, most medical waste was collected centrally by third-party hazardous waste companies, featuring long transfer cycles and high logistics costs. When transport capacity is tight, accumulated medical waste will bring considerable safety risks.
Tianlang Environmental TLFS-50 medical waste incinerator has been successfully delivered for this project. Adopting pyrolysis gasification technology, the equipment thoroughly inactivates medical waste such as needles and contaminated dressings at high temperature in a sealed furnace. Equipped with a complete tail gas purification system, all emission indexes comply with European environmental regulations. Stable in operation, high in automation and compact in footprint, it fits simple protective sheds built inside hospitals, helping medical institutions independently manage the whole medical waste disposal process.
The photo captures the equipment site at dusk, and the whole unit has been installed in place. We provide one-stop delivery service including domestic production, export wooden case packaging, sea freight customs clearance, on-site commissioning and operation & maintenance training. After commissioning, the hospital can dispose of medical waste on-site, reduce reliance on outsourced transportation, and lower the cross-infection risk caused by medical waste transfer.
