Local medical facilities in Bangladesh have long struggled with the challenge of disposing of pharmaceutical waste; improper handling of expired medicines and contaminated dressings poses a high risk of pathogen transmission, while rudimentary incineration methods cause exhaust emissions pollution. Tianlang Environmental Protection has delivered an integrated system comprising the TLFSP-100 pharmaceutical waste incinerator and a matching exhaust gas treatment unit. The system utilizes a pyrolysis-gasification process to eliminate pathogens at high temperatures and features a downstream flue gas purification unit for dust removal and scrubbing. The complete system shown in the image has been installed and commissioned at the project site in Bangladesh. The equipment is robust and durable, well-suited to local operating conditions, and easy to maintain.
